Santa brought Abby a shiny new camera for Christmas so right before the new year, she and I got together with my good friend, Lisa and her lovely daughter, Savanah to test the goods. We went for a picture taking adventure at the Gilbert Riparian Preserve
The girls were so much fun and were more than happy to pose for the camera…
I just love their enthusiasm, they get so excited to photograph everything around them. Kids definitely see things from a different perspective and they often spot things we adults sometimes miss.
Abby tripped and her camera fell into a little duck poo, no worries…no damage was done, although she didn’t touch the camera the rest of the afternoon.

Early last month I got another opportunity to 2nd shoot with O Grace Photography. I started the morning with the guys getting ready at the beautiful Sanctuary on Camelback.

Over the holidays I got together with my best friend, Denise and her clan (but not all of them) for some family portraits. All of the kids were in town, but we couldn’t quite match up everyones schedules – so here’s the group we were able to round up…

Well, it only took us two tries to capture this years family photos for this beautiful family. We started on Sunday, but the little ones weren’t feeling up to the task – not to mention it was freezing cold outside! So we got together again this afternoon to finish the job :)
